Myspace blocks SHOPlet functions
Myspace users can put their SHOPlet on their page, but the users are not redirected to the actual shop. We are working on a solution which we expect to have running shortly. Users can use a direct link to their shop until the problem is solved.
Subject drop down box shrinks on mouse click in vista.
This only occurs when you have HP print Clips installed on your computer. You can remove the problem by deactivating Print Clips.

How much should i charge for my product?
RedAntenna has a minimum price of $ 0.01 and a maximum of $100. As long as your price is between these two figures then RedAntenna will be happy to accept your product.
Which audio file formats can i upload?
RedAntenna is currently able to handle audio files in mp3, aif, wav and wma format.
Which audio file formats can i upload?
RedAntenna is currently able to handle Mov, mp4, 3gp, flv, avi, wma, mpeg(1,2) and mpg(video) format.
RedAntenna gives me an error message stating that the media is under copywright protection. I own the rights, how do i proceed?
When you upload an audio or video file to RedAntenna we first check that the file is not DRM protected. If it is then find the original file and upload again. RedAntenna will then check the files "fingerprint" against a database of copyright protected files. If you have the rights to the material, then just continue with the upload process and send us some documentation of ownership along with the file name and the E-mail address that you use for RedAntenna and we will unlock the file.
How do you know that the product i upload as a producer is my own product?
We can't and never will. It is clearly stated in our terms and connditions that any content found to be in violation of copyright laws will be removed and the person responsible for uploading the content will be reported to the authorities.
If i as a producer wish to discontinue selling one of my products, how do i proceed?
As stated in our terms and conditions you have to agree to have your products for sale for a minimum of 12 months. it would not be fair to our webmasters if a product gets removed as soon as sales start to rise. However in exceptional circumstances you can write to us and ask us to remove a product with the reason for removal, and we may agree to remove the item.
How do i delete an uploaded product if i mistakenly upload the wrong file?
As stated in the previous post you can't remove it yourself, but you can send a mail to support@redantenna.com and we'll remove it immediately.
How can i be sure that when you delete a file, that it is deleted permanently?
When a product is removed or doesn't pass our copyright filter, it is automatically deleted permanently after 30 days.
What bitrate do you stream video at?
RedAntenna currently streams at 300 bps. We have the ability to increase the bitrate which we will do when the average user has an internet connection that can receive a higher rate without waiting.
Which programming languages does RedAntenna support for software uploads?
RedAntenna supports .Net 2.0, Java, Delphi and C++ applications. We'll support other languages soon - stay tuned!
Which frame is shown as the poster frame for my video?
RedAntenna uses the first frame four seconds into hte video to showto the public as an appetizer.
Which operating systems do you support for Audio/Video?
All operating systems are supported.

We only work with computers that have the .Net 2.0 framework installed, so only Windows operating systems are supported.
How much does it cost to use RedAntenna?
There is no charge for using RedAntenna, so everybody can sign up, upload and distribute media products. However, RedAntenna charges a low 7% fee per sale which covers all credit card, transaction, and other fees.

By activating your account you validate your E-mail which will be used for all communication with Red Antenna, and making sure that all revenue is sent to the right user.

RedAntenna uses ClickandBuy’s system. It’s safe and lets you shop thousands of other webshops, such as Apple iTunes, Skype, MSN and Electronic Arts. As of April 2008, ClickandBuy has over 10 million users and 14,000 merchants worldwide.
Can I register without a ClickandBuy account?
Yes, if you just want to buy media products via your credit card. But if you want to stop finding your credit card every time you can for free create a ClickandBuy account. This account will also be used for your incomming revenue as Producer and/or Webmaster.
Is it possible to use a form of payment other than ClickandBuy?
Yes, you can also buy directly via your credit card. But it much easier - and free - to create a ClickandBuy account, so check this out. If I want to sell my work through RedAntenna, can I also sell it through other sales channels?
Yes. We do not expect exclusive agreements unless separately negotiated.
Will RedAntenna be available in other languages?

Why can’t I read the RedAntenna Help file included in the SDK?
The RedAntenna Help file is a compiled file, which the Windows packaging tool cannot unpack properly. Try using either WinRar or WinZip to unpack the SDK (the free versions work as well).

Can I choose the products to sell in my RedAntennaSHOP™?
Yes, you are in full control of the media products you sell in your Shop. Media products can be selected by our harvester or manually by our search functionality. Furtermore, you are able to index your search result by category, producer, price, revenue, etc.
What is the price for using RedAntennaSHOP™
It's 100& free to use the RedAntennaSHOP™ widget. RedAntenna charges the Producer a 7% fee on each sale. the commission you recieve is determined by the Producer.
How do I assist my customers?
The Producer takes care of the product specifications and is also responsible for customer support to the specified media product.
Will I have to maintain product information in my RedAntennaSHOP™?
No, all product information will be maintained by the Producer.
Does the consumer pay me directly?
Consumers use the ClickandBuy payment system, which automatically and immediately distributes payments.

If your blog allows you to use HTML; DHTML or XHTML then it should be possible. If not then you can still place a link directly to your shop on your blog. In case of problems contact your blog vendor.
Does Red Antenna work with CMS systems?
Our SHOPlets can be used with most CMS systems, although a few do not allow flash components. If you have problems please contact your vendor.

Do I need a ClickandBuy account to buy products?

Do i need to activate my account to buy digital media through Red Antenna?
No, not if you only want to see video's or download audio files. If you want to purchase sofware through Red Antenna then you will need to activate your account, so that we can be sure to send the activation codes to the right address.
How does video work?
After having confirmed your purchase you have 24 hours to watch the video stream as often as you want.
How does Audio work?
After confirming your purchase, you have 24 hours in which to download the audio file to your computer. All audio files are sent in mp3 format, which means that you can hear them with most media players or any portable mp3 player.
How does Software work?
After successfully downloading a software program, just run the program and when the trial period expires you will be ask to pay for the product before ir´t can be used again.
When I try to download a program through RedAntenna, i get a message that says "Invalid session_id." What does this mean?
Some firewall and anti virus programs block programs that they don't know. Simply disable your firewall during the download and you should have no problem. Don't forget to enable your firewall when you're done!

What's the deal with your name and the ant in the logo?
We're happy you asked! RedAntenna was developed to stand up for the little guy against giant corporate media. We envisioned all these ants forced to march in lockstep - which is what mainstream media generally asks us to do - and then up rises a RedAntenna broadcasting the signal to stand up and be counted. Conveniently, the name RedAntenna also contains the word red ant, and it all came together. Or so we believe. What do you think?
Will RedAntenna carry everything, or do you censor the media sold through your platform?
RedAntenna believes in supporting independent artists and others whose tastes do not necessarily lie in the mainstream. That said, we do not allow media that is pornographic or excessively violent, defamatory or hateful, pirated or otherwise illegal. Please read our Terms & Condition.
